Other “190” apps from other states are already running, but in greater São Paulo it is the first. The company that partnered with the government was Indra and this app cost around R$200,000. It is also now available for Android and iOS.

To activate the São Paulo Military Police through the application, the user needs to register personal data such as name, CPF, address, telephone, e-mail, in addition to creating a login and password. In addition, it asks for ID number, mother’s name and you must be 18 years old or older. This is all to make it easier to track possible hoaxes and so that the police can get in touch to carry out the operation.
